All high schools and middle schools have at least 3 dedicated computer lab spaces for student use. Most elementary buildings have at least one dedicated computer lab either in a physical lab space or through a mobile lab cart. In elementary class rooms the district’s goal is at least four workstations per classroom for student use.
CLASSROOM TECHNOLOGY

Buildings are linked over this network using 400 network switches. For the technically inclined the district does not use routers but rather employs a technique called layer 3 switching. Classrooms and other district work locations all have multiple wired network ports operating at one gigabit speeds.
WIRELESS NETWORK
All district facilities have edge to edge wireless connectivity capabilities also known as WIFI. At this time high school and middle school facilities have “Guest” access capabilities to allow any user to be able to use the district’s network.
